About Alim Udo Limited
Alim Udo Ltd headquartered in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria championed improvements in farming in the Humid Tropics since 2009. Farming in the acidic sandy soils of the Humid Tropics often inundated with monsoon rains has specific and unique challenges. We have focused on finding solutions that take advantage of positive aspects, like abundant rains, and also on solutions that neutralize our difficulties.
Our Foundation
Since 2009, we have dedicated ourselves to solving problems in agriculture that are prevalent in, and unique to the Humid Tropics. We have focused on identifying and introducing fruit trees that thrive in this region. We have also identified and introduced fodder plants that meet the needs of cattle, goat and sheep farmers – fodder plants that thrive in humid tropical environments.
What Drives Us
Nigeria’s growing population demands reliable food production. Rising feed costs affect livestock farmers. Unstable supply chains affect markets. Young people are searching for viable economic opportunities. These realities drive our work.
Our mission is to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s food security while building a commercially viable agricultural system that supports communities and empowers agribusiness growth.
We are driven by:
Scale over subsistence
Structure over guesswork
Quality over shortcuts
Sustainability over quick wins

Our goal is not just to succeed alone — it is to contribute to a stronger agricultural ecosystem where more Nigerians can farm profitably and sustainably.
Looking Ahead
The future of agriculture in Nigeria belongs to those who treat it as serious business. Climate realities, population growth, and food demand make it clear: structured, commercial farming is no longer optional — it is essential.
Alim Udo Limited is positioned to be part of that future. Through scale, discipline, innovation, and responsible management, we are building an agricultural enterprise that feeds, supplies, supports, and grows with Nigeria.
